Who I am

Outside of Work

My hobbies, activities, and interests

Animal Lover

Growing up I always had different animals in my house like dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and fish. However, one thing has always stayed the same - my love for animals. No matter what type, I always love being around them. After starting college, my parents started a hobby farm with honey bees and chickens. I always love seeing them, and it's especially rewarding when harvesting eggs or honey. At college, I was starting to miss being around animals. So, I decided to volunteer at the Kitty Krib - a cat cafe. This cafe housed ready to adopt cats that were found by the humane society. I loved helping out and hanging out with the cats.

From thrifting, attending flea markets, antiquing, to vintage shopping I love it all. I could spend hours perusing packed shelves full of old memorabilia. For me, it's like a treasure hunt. Finding the perfect piece to add to my collection fills me with excitement, especially when I know the historical context of the item. Aside from collecting bits of history, I also enjoy learning about it. Whether it's watching documentaries or attending museums, I enjoy immersing myself in a different world.

Curious Foodie

Another hobby of mine is trying new food and restaurants. Exploring local eats and cuisines is always a must when visiting a new city. I find eating out tends to be a pleasant experience filled with surprises. Trying different flavor combinations, comforting meals, or something entirely new always gets me excited. Food connects people in so many ways. Whether it's sharing a culture or conversation, humans are always involved creating that connection.
